I’ve seen this Jonathan Adler pillow twice recently. Once here, in Bazaar, on Giorgio Guidotti’s stylish sofa and once in the guest bedroom of a friend.
Here we go, more black and white, I know, but this might be in order for the Blandings’ kitchen sofa.
Clicking over I got sucked into the “custom” feature of Adler’s pillows, rugs and totes. (Hmmm…. could this wwwandering have something to do with not getting traction?) While not a totally cheap date, you can customize the front and back so you can double your creative pleasure.
Nothing to stop you but your imagination and, perhaps, a lurking boss. I don’t have one, a boss I mean, so I could click and create at will.

You could cook up a little something for yourself or your child or a friend. Pretty darn cute baby or hostess gift.
Jonathan Adler thinks Mrs. Blandings is j’adorable and gave me tons of free swag to write this. Oh wait, no. No, he didn’t actually, though he was very nice and said, “hi” at the gift show last year. I do all this craziness for free. Just in case you were wondering.
Patricia, did you see JA on Celebrity Apprentice a couple of weeks ago? With his assistant. Judging the contestant's versions of "corporate apartments." He loved loved loved Cyndi Lauper's red media room. I like the black & white, and I would buy the bag.
Splenderosa – I missed it! I'm not sure I've seen Celebrity Apprentice, who knew they would have such fun guests. I made the bag (virtually) for Megan at beachbungalow8 – she changed her header the same day. C'est la vie.
I love the cane pillow. I could order one for my window bench if I could ever figure out what colors I'm using.
Nothing is free, it has a price and I know that you are paying, or at least all your scouting, all your posting, all your sharing of design enthusiasm amazes me.
If you had a penny from each of my comments you would be one wealthy, cocktail ring laden lady, oh, I mean "girl." Atta girl.

I will take one of each! Lovin' the peace sign pillow right now.
Thank you for creating such a wonderful site to read! It is like free therapy some days:)

Mrs. B, that was fun. I just spent too many minutes fiddling with patterns, borders and colors on the Jonathan Adler site.
If you are interested in making your own pillow, a friend just lent me a neat little needlepoint book by Jini Smith, called Alpha Graphics. The center of the black and white needlepoint project I'm working on is one of her patterns for the letter "C." The Adler pillows have given me some more ideas.
Love it. And your imagination just saved me…a baby gift for a very good friend. Done.
Oh I got the pleasure of going into his store in Manhattan last year. The sales people were so nice and it is like a color explosion with pattern and style everywhere.
A great treat if popping around the upper westside.

it's nice to see it in an actual interior. Makes me like it a little more. Not something I'd usually go for, but it looks great on that sofa!
Well I, for one, think you are adorable and should get free swag. That you could then pass along to your readers? Either way LOVE JA and used his black and white monogram pillows fluffing up a bachelor pad last year!
You do needlepoint! But Jonathan should really send you a lovely pillow! He offered the Queen of Hearts on his website for a time–sigh!
Wait…you have a sofa in your kitchen? I've been thinking of getting a settee to put under a large window in my kitchen, but it would be very close to the fridge and the people in my life (plus the cats) would probably think I'd lost it with this interior decorating thing. Sorry, for going OT. Just curious about your kitchen.
Oh, just today I posted on my stumbeling upon the JA store in New York…
The place is so adorable!
Love your customized post!

Patricia – you do know, because you are paying the piper, too.
tc – good luck! I am finishing ornaments from LAST year so I am looking for instant gratification on the mono, but love your idea. I will check out the book.
Boxwood Terrace – you can see it here:

It's a nice sized room. A former kitchen/breakfast room/maid's room so plenty of space for a sofa. A horribly filthy sofa.
And, yes, I've been in JA;s stores and they always make me happy. Always. I'm such a sucker for all that color and graphic shapes.
Have always loved Jonathan Adler — you can tell that he is one happy fella! Couldn't we all use a bit more whimsy in our lives?
I just had to tell you how much I love your throw away comments at the end….."Jonathan Adler thinks Mrs. Blandings is j'adorable………" I swear this will keep me chuckling ALL day. True wit is so rare these days. You cannot imaging how grateful I am to read your blog!!
I need that last bag!!!!
