“Off With Her Head!”

So could have proclaimed Lucy, a reader with a keen eye, who gave me the heads-up that the pillow used in the Bazaar shoot is available to any and all without toil.  But she didn’t, she just sent me the link.  Simply click here (and pay) and Jonathan Adler would be delighted to send one of these beauties right to your door.

Or this.  Or both!

I will tell you that Adler’s bargello pillows were one of my favorites from the New York Gift Fair in January.

Bright, cheerful, loaded with color and well-executed they would give a pop of color to brighten up any room looking a little down in the heels.

And I know that Katie has already told you, but Adler is giving away the store.  Sort of.  Sign up for his email list and you are entered in a sweepstakes.  You’ll receive the happy thrill of Adler’s updates and a chance to win prizes including a JA $2000 gift card.  That would be happy chic, indeed.

  1. this is delightful news…thrilled I can put away my needle & canvas, for now, and go visit charming JA & co.

    love blandings + dv. heavenly.

  2. Lost my head all over that at JA! My bff in high school has the pair of “bargello” wing backs that her mother needlepointed.
They are simply amazing. A bargello foot-stool or ottoman would be a wonderful addition to your home.
    Fit for any Queen.

  3. Who knew? Will take myself right on over there and check it out.
I love a little needlepoint pillow or two, maybe a sweet stool as P~ mentioned. Makes me think of a possible give-away! Come on over and celebrate this week!

  4. How exciting, these are dazzling and so detailed. Love them! Will visit Jonathan right now.

  5. Love me some needlepoint any thing, especially with out the toil. I have dabbled in needlepoint but my eyes betray me every time so I really appreciate the keen eyes of youth that are able to stitch these lovely creations.

  6. I’m having a fit right now. These are great pillows! Now, I’m off to JA for more.

  7. these are all fantastic. the playing cards are so 70s pop art. love the bargello pattern~Always such a great way to add a graphic punch.

  8. A great resource for finding needlework cushions is your local thrift stores. I’m constantly running across great 1970’s era pillows in a variety of palettes. I found a great black/brown and cream zebra patterned number for $2.60. Unfortunately, my mother “appropriated” it for her den…Drat!

  9. The playing card pillows are a great take on a traditional needlepoint theme. I’d like to see the rest of the royal flush.

  10. I love all those pillows, I’m hoping to win because they all would look great on my couch. If I dont win, I hope someone I know wins because it would be great!!
